DURHAM, NC (March 28, 2023) — Today, Congresswoman Valerie Foushee (NC-04) welcomed President Joe Biden to North Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District to kick-off the Administration’s Investing in America tour.

“It was an honor to welcome President Biden back to North Carolina and to Durham today,” said Congresswoman Valerie Foushee. “We have seen President Biden prioritize workers and families since day one of this Administration. Today’s event highlights President Biden’s bold economic plan to grow our economy from the middle-out and bottom-up through historic investments in American manufacturing, research, and innovation. I am proud that North Carolina and the Fourth District are serving at the forefront of strengthening our nation’s innovative edge and playing our role in the Made in America initiative.” 

Today’s event at the Wolfspeed Headquarters in Durham, NC marks the start of a three-week long tour that will visit over twenty states to highlight the impact of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Investing in America agenda. The tour will also travel to: California, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Wisconsin, and more.
