Education
Education is the key to ensuring our future generations can thrive and fulfill their potential. Still, funding of public education facilities and systems have slowly been ignored by national legislators in recent decades. As a graduate of North Carolina’s public education system, I’ve consistently held education as one of my highest and most urgent priorities in Congress.
The challenges facing our education system today are extensive, from improving and supporting Elementary and Secondary education nationwide, to making sure children from all corners of our country have equal opportunities to learn. At the forefront of these changes, is providing teachers with the resources and compensation they need and deserve to be successful, and ensuring college education is accessible and affordable for all.
